Al-Mane to Turkey for Boosting Health Coordination

The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad Al-Mane left to the Republic of Turkey on Sunday on a two days official visit in response to an invitation from the Turkish Minister of Health Professor Risp Aquaj.
 
The visit aims to establish a cooperative relationship between the two countries in the different health fields within the context of the memo of understanding signed by Riyadh and Anqara.
 
At the end of the visit Dr. Al-Mane shall hold a press conference in which he will elaborate on the developments in the field of health services in the Kingdom during the last few years.
 
The Minister of Health and accompanying delegation shall also visit a number of health facilities in the Turkish capital, including Misa Hospital and Ataturk Training and Research Hospital, where he will hear to explanations from Turkish officials on the educational and training services in the medical field.
 
It is worth mentioning here that a memo of understanding in the field of health services between the two countries has been signed during the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Turkey during last Shaban. The memo has been transferred from the Board of Experts at the Council of Ministers to the Shura Council for accomplishment of normal administrative procedures.  
 
The memo stresses the importance of boosting cooperation in the field of health services and medical sciences through establishing training programs, exchanging scientific experiences, an organizing joint research meetings and conferences on drug manufacturing and medical equipment, and participation in international health shows convened in
the two countries.
