Under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Patients Rights and Relations Program General Department is organizing the 1st National Symposium on Patients' Rights in the Eastern Region. The symposium will take place on 5-6 May, 2012, at Le Méridien Hotel in Al Khobar. Moreover, the symposium aims to train the Department’s staff on patients' rights and responsibilities in order to implement these concepts at all health facilities, and raise the society's awareness. This will be reflected positively on health facilities’ performance, and increase patient and society's satisfaction, achieving the MOH aspirations to improve the performance of the health sector in the Kingdom.
