The Executive Office of the GCC Council of Ministers of Health in cooperation with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS), World Health Organization (WHO), Arab Gulf Programme for United Nations Development Organizations (AGFUND) and King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), organizes the 3rd Gulf Conference on Adolescents and Youth Health 2012. The Conference will take place on 8-10 April, 2012, at Park Hyatt – Jeddah.
The conference will discuss several topics, including the current situation and strategic framework of adolescents and youths health, the role of partners; governmental, private, NGO’s, regional and international organizations, in addition to the experiences and studies in the area of adolescents and youths health promotion. It will also discuss the risk factors of diseases among adolescents and youths, daily life skills, the role of adolescents and youths in promoting their health, in addition to developing health services providers’ skills.
