Overview:
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries celebrate Gulf Children’s Day on January 15th each year. This occasion highlights the efforts dedicated to child care and the support of children’s health and educational rights.
The day aims to raise family and community awareness of children’s needs and promote practices that support their physical and mental development, in line with MoH’s role in improving children’s quality of life and supporting a safe and healthy lifestyle. - Promoting the adoption of healthy eating habits within households, with a focus on balanced meals and reducing foods high in sugar and fats.
- Supporting the role of schools in providing a healthy food environment and encouraging sound dietary choices.
