As part of its noble mission to serve the Guests of Allah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia gives special attention to providing comprehensive health services and facilities that meet the needs of pilgrims and Umrah performers throughout the Hajj and Umrah seasons. These services include the preparation of field hospitals, as well as permanent and mobile medical centers strategically located within and around the holy sites to ensure easy access at any time. The Ministry of Health also deploys advanced first aid points and fully equipped ambulances, operated by qualified medical teams trained to handle various emergency and critical cases.
This integrated system covers every stage of the pilgrim’s journey, from arrival at the Kingdom’s entry points, through the performance of rituals, until safely departing the holy land. In addition, the Ministry provides preventive services such as vaccination campaigns, medical examinations, and awareness programs to protect public health and limit the spread of infectious diseases.
The Ministry has also launched effective communication channels to serve the Guests of Allah, most notably the unified call center (937), which operates 24/7 to provide medical consultations, health guidance, and multilingual support to pilgrims and Umrah performers. These efforts are further enhanced by innovative digital services through mobile applications that help users locate nearby health facilities, book appointments, and receive instant health alerts.
Through these comprehensive efforts, the Kingdom reaffirms its commitment to safeguarding the health of the Guests of Allah, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which places quality of life and healthcare services at the forefront of its priorities, ensuring a safe and healthy season for all visitors to the Holy Mosque.
