Causes and Symptoms of Breast Cancer
Causes of Breast Cancer:
  1. Age.
  2. A family history of breast cancer.
  3. Inherited genes.
  4. Postmenopausal hormone therapy.
  5. Nutritional factors.
  6. Benign mammary dysplasia.
  7. Environmental factors and pollution.

Symptoms that women should be aware of and look out for:

  1. A breast lump or thickening that feels different from the surrounding tissue.
  2. Change in the size, color, or shape of a breast.
  3. Changes to the skin over the breast, such as dimpling.
  4. Redness or pitting of the skin over the breast or the nipple.
  5. Bloody discharge from the nipple.
  6. A change in the skin of the nipple (inverted nipples or retracted nipples).
