“Waai" Award
About the Award:
It is an annual awareness-raising competition initiated by the Ministry of Health (MOH) in partnership with the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance. It aims at encouraging citizens in the Arab world to create awareness content that contributes to enriching awareness content in the health field, promoting healthy habits, raising awareness of the risks and negative effects that may affect public health, by participating in the award categories.
Prizes:
The prizes are worth about one million Saudi riyals awarded to more than 50 winners from various award categories.
Award Categories:
Make a short film of no more than 120 seconds providing an awareness message to help spreading a healthy culture.
Design a creative infographic and present a health awareness message that addresses bad habits.
- Advertising Photography:
Design a creative advertising photography about raising health awareness using a professional image or digital image.
Make a short film of no more than 120 seconds by relying on animation, showing health awareness information in a creative and accessible way.
Design a creative and integrated media campaign to deliver a specific awareness message according to the specified model.
The closing ceremony of the “Waai" Award is held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Eng. Fahad bin Abdurrahman Al-Jalajel and in the presence of a number of ministers, dignitaries and prominent figures in the field of media and health awareness.
The ceremony includes the announcement of the top ten winners in each category, as well as a speech by His Excellency the Minister of Health and General Supervisor of the Award, in addition to honoring the sponsors. The event also includes an accompanying exhibition featuring the top 15 participations divided according to category.
