The Assistant Agency for Private Health Sector Affairs, represented by the Health Licenses General Department and Private Health Institution Follow-up General Department, aims at ensuring the application of health systems and regulations, such as the Private health Institution Law, Pharmaceutical Installations and Products Law, Health Profession Practice Law and Law of Units of Fertilization, Utero-Fetal and Infertility and their executive regulations. The assistant agency targets also issuing decisions and circulars related to those systems, in addition to studying and reviewing the requirements for the opening of private hospitals before being submitted to His Excellency the Minister of Health for approval. It also aims at monitoring and evaluating the performance of private health sector affairs' departments, through the private health establishments and pharmaceutical facilities to verify the safety and quality of performance and their application of systems and regulations.
