Ajyad Hospital in Makkah Continues Efforts for Serving Pilgrims

​The Ministry of Health (MOH) continues its efforts to provide outstanding health and therapeutic services to pilgrims through its health facilities including Ajyad Emergency Hospital in Makkah, which is the one of the most important MOH's facilities allocated to serve them. The hospital provides emergency services to patients in the Holy Mosque and the central area around it 24/7. 

According to MOH, the bed capacity of the hospital amounts to 52 beds, including 32 beds for emergency cases and 20 beds for inpatients (12 beds for intensive care and 8 beds for cardiac intensive care), adding that the hospital's radiology section is enhanced with state-of-the-art equipment including a CT scan, an ECHO device, an ultrasound, and a fixed and moving devices for routine radiation tests. Meanwhile, the laboratory section is equipped with the cutting-edge appliances to perform all emergency lab tests, and the pharmacy section meets the hospital's needs for all drugs required for emergency cases. Also, two emergency clinics were introduced in the hospital.

It is noteworthy that the hospital has 52 physicians and 149 female and male nurses, as well as 31 technicians specialized in laboratory, radiation and pharmacy.
