According to Najran Health Affairs, during the first quarter of 2019, the region's hospitals served more 391,000 patients, 222,163 at the emergency sections and 169,800 at outpatient clinics.
Also, the hospitals performed 8,896 surgeries including 2,746 one-day surgeries and 6,150 routine operations, as well as 3,176 births during the same period.
