According to Riyadh Health Affairs, over the last year, Al-Aflaj General Hospital provided its services to over 96,000 patients from AL-Aflaj and its affiliated centers, 47,168 at the outpatient clinics and 49,450 at the emergency department.
Also, the hospital performed 553 surgical operations ranged from minor and moderate surgeries and one-day surgery, as well as 451,316 lab tests and 25,1 34 X-ray examinations, and 815 births and 5,367 inpatients, adds the Affairs.
As part of its developmental steps, the hospital has launched e-request service for home care in order to improve the service quality; thus saving the new homecare requesters the burden of travelling to make the request. When the request is made via the hospital's website, the concerned department will study the case to ensure eligibility for homecare.
