Riyadh Health affairs has announced the results of the national initiative on "Prevent Tooth Caries" for the year 1439-1440H, which aims to raise awareness about the importance of oral and dental health among primary school students.
The initiative featured a number of lecturers for male and female students, applying fluoride to their teeth and referring some of them for treatment at dentistry centers.
It is to be noted that, during 1,548 visits to schools, the initiative provided awareness and preventive services to more than 440,075 students.
