His Excellency the Minister of Health, Head of the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participating in the 65th session of the World Health Organization's (WHO) General Assembly in Geneva, Dr. Abdullah Bin AbdulAziz Al Rabeeah, has met today U.K. Secretary of State for Health, Mr. Andrew Lansley.
Moreover, U.K. Secretary of State for Health has expressed his profound gratitude and deep thanks to the Kingdom for cooperating with the U.K. in dealing with the crowds and exchanging experiences. In addition, the meeting discussed following up and activating the terms of the joint cooperation agreement signed between the two sides last year. It also discussed the importance of supporting the Kingdom with qualified British medical cadres, including supporting Visiting Physicians Program, providing public health training for master and PhD programs, in addition to supporting the Saudi Center for Disease Control (SCDC) and the National Laboratory in Riyadh.
