Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Thanks Dr. Al-Rabeeah for the MOH's Efforts in Serving Pilgrims

   In a telegram to Dr. Al-Rabeeah, Prince Ahmed said, “We have followed up the medical service which has been offered by the Ministry of Health for pilgrims in Makkah and the Holy Sites through its hospitals and health centers, as well as harnessing all the capabilities to receive and treat sick and emergency cases, including those in need of open-heart surgeries. Therefore, we would like to thank Your Excellency, and all those who contributed to the success of this year's Hajj season, praying for Almighty Allah to make success of our efforts, and to help pilgrims complete their rituals.”
 
For his part, His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Al-Rabeeah, as well as the MOH employees, expressed great gratitude to His Highness Prince Ahmed, meanwhile commending the colossal efforts made by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, May Allah protect them, in serving the visitors of the Sacred House of Allah (pilgrims), and providing  sound and healthy circumstances for them to perform the Hajj rituals easily and conveniently.
 
It’s noteworthy that the Ministry has provided distinguished medical services for pilgrims during this year's Hajj season, with a total of 504.071 pilgrims served. Field medicine teams provided medical services for 16,066 pilgrims treated on place, while 4514 patients have been hospitalized. Besides, specific operations were conducted over this year's Hajj season, including 463 cardiac catheterization operations, 42 open-heart surgeries, 3112 kidney dialysis sessions, and 32 endoscopy operations, as well as 10 birth-giving cases.
