MOH Provides 440 Wireless Devices to Link the Health Facilities of the Holy Places One Another

   Eng. Adnan Bushnaq, Director of wireless communications at the General Directorate of Health Affairs in Makkah, has announced that the Directorate has provided 440 wireless devices to easily connect the health facilities of the Holy Places one another, as well as officials in various health sectors.
Eng. Adnan Bushnaq explained that the wireless devices operate through several channels to facilitate communication and performance of tasks between the various health facilities and hospitals in order to accelerate the exchange of notification, pointing out that all ambulances are equipped with wireless devices, thereby facilitating their different tasks.
He also stressed that there is a correlation via wireless devices with other sectors' operations, such as Police, Red Crescent, Civil Defense, Ministry of Hajj, Tawafa institutions and Hajj institutions, thus effecting consistency and integration between the various bodies in order to serve pilgrims.
According to Eng. Adnan, a control room for emergency and ambulatory transportation has been prepared to allow rapid exchange of information on emergency and transportation of emergency cases. By now, he said, the wireless communications are covering large areas in Makkah region from the middle of the Madinah road to Makkah, and from the east of Taif (about 200 km off) to Makkah, in addition to providing full coverage of Laith road.
Eng. Adnan Bushnaq, Director of Wireless Communications at General Directorate of Health Affairs in Makkah, concluded by saying that the Directorate has allocated the telephone number 8002455055 to receive all feedback, enquiries and complaints around the clock.
