MOH Supplies Hospitals and Health Centers in the Holy Sites with Advanced Medical Equipment

Dr. Salah Al-Mazrou, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Supervisor-General of Medical Supply and Equipment, has affirmed that the Ministry of Health continues to make every effort to provide high-quality health services for patient pilgrims during the Hajj season of this year (1432H).
He pointed out that the Ministry, represented by the Medical Supply Department, has approved 65 new medicines recently added to the Ministry's medicine directory.

Dr. Al-Mazrou added that the hospitals and health centers based in (and in the surroundings of) the Holy Sites, in Makkah and Madinah, have been equipped with the state-of-the-art medical appliances. Intensive care units, for instance, have been supplied with new respirators; in addition to renovating the Dynamic Control System of inpatients.

He further explained that the Ministry has supplied the hospitals, health centers and ambulances of the Holy Sites with cooling medical appliances, with the aim to succor pilgrims suffering sunstrokes. Unlike the traditional method of cooling pursued in such cases, theses appliances adopts the technique of cooling through the patient's veins, which is a great deal more effective.

Dr. Salah Al-Mazrou concluded his statement by emphasizing that the Ministry of Health, and all its sectors and departments, make every effort in pursuit of providing the best and fullest health services for the guests of Allah, under the supervision of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, aided by the limitless and endless support of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – May Allah protect him.
