Qassim Governor Reviews Health Transformation and Services Quality

​His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Qassim Region, reviewed the health transformation programs being implemented across the region.

This took place during His Highness’s meeting with healthcare staff and officials, as part of his ongoing follow-up on the development of the healthcare sector and efforts to enhance the quality of services provided to citizens.
His Highness underscored the critical importance of transformation within the healthcare sector, highlighting the strong support and attention it receives from the wise leadership, within the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which places citizens’ health at the forefront of national priorities.
Prince Faisal bin Mishaal praised the dedication and outstanding efforts of healthcare heroes and all sector employees, expressing his satisfaction with the achievements realized along the health transformation journey in the region. He emphasized the importance of continuing to work with a unified team spirit and strengthening integration among relevant entities to fulfill the leadership’s aspirations and place human health above all else.
For his part, the Chief Executive Officer of the Qassim Health Cluster, Dr. Mousa Al-Harbi, explained that the Health Sector Transformation Program is one of the key programs implementing Saudi Vision 2030. The program aims to enable a comprehensive transformation of the Kingdom’s healthcare sector and restructure it into an efficient, integrated, and sustainable health system centered on individual and community well-being.
Dr. Al-Harbi revealed details of the Qassim Health Cluster’s transformation journey, announcing the cluster’s full readiness to transition to the Health Holding Company effective January 1st, 2026, after being selected for the first phase due to its progress in governance implementation and the adoption of a value-based healthcare model.
He noted that the transition rate has reached 99.7%, with efforts during the past period focused on ensuring a safe transition for employees, activating change management plans, establishing employee service offices, and operating a 24/7 call center. Survey results reflected a high level of readiness for the next phase, contributing to service continuity, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced quality of care.
Meanwhile, Assistant Director General of MoH in the region, Saleh Al-Hujailan, highlighted the Qassim Region’s excellence in the Healthy Cities Program and the ongoing expansion in this field, which contributes to improving community health and quality of life.
In turn, Director of Health Transformation at the MoH branch in the region, Omar Al-Ajlan, affirmed that health transformation goes beyond the delivery of healthcare services, encompassing the enhancement of quality of life and the quality of healthcare provided, to ensure a comprehensive and integrated health experience for beneficiaries.
