In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the Live Well initiative under the Ministry of Health has launched the “Live Well Lunchbox” campaign, a national effort designed to elevate nutritional awareness and instill healthy eating behaviors within school communities. The campaign focuses on equipping parents and students with practical knowledge and accessible tools that enable them to prepare healthier school meals.
Through this initiative, Live Well aims to empower individuals to embrace healthier lifestyles and strengthen preventive health practices, contributing to improved public health outcomes and supporting the Kingdom’s ambition to raise average life expectancy to 80 years. These efforts align with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030, toward building a vibrant society with sustainable health.
The campaign underscores the importance of nutritious breakfasts prepared by parents, promotes a culture of healthy school meals, and enhances awareness of balanced food choices among parents, students, and educators. It also enables target groups to make informed nutritional decisions that help establish lifelong healthy habits from an early age.
