The Health Holding Company has announced the launch of the “Taakkad” initiative and the commencement of beneficiary services. The initiative represents an advanced model and the first of its kind in the Kingdom, implemented across all health clusters in Riyadh. It aims to provide accurate, fast, and reliable periodic medical screenings, contributing to the enhancement of preventive healthcare and improving access to health services, in line with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030, toward building a vibrant society with a sustainable quality of life.
The initiative, which represents the Kingdom’s first innovative national network for periodic health screening, seeks to facilitate access to a comprehensive range of preventive medical services and promote early detection through integrated screening pathways. These services are delivered through a drive-through model designed to cover key health indicators efficiently and conveniently.
The preventive screening pathways include examinations for diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and lipid disorders, in addition to screenings for osteoporosis, colorectal cancer, and breast cancer. The initiative also offers advanced screening tracks focusing on proteomics, lifestyle assessment, and genomics. Appointments can be booked through the
Sehhaty application at “Ta’akkad for Your Health” centers.
This initiative forms part of the healthcare system’s broader efforts to reinforce the concept of prevention before treatment and to serve as a trusted partner in supporting individuals on their journey toward better health and well-being. It aligns with the objectives of both the Health Sector Transformation Program and the Quality of Life Program. Further details about the initiative are available at the official
website.
