The Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of the Health Holding Company, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel, announced the launch of the Diabetes Command and Control Center, the first of its kind in the world, which enables electronic and proactive monitoring of diabetes-related health indicators. The announcement took place during the opening day of the Global Health Exhibition 2025 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh.
According to the Health Holding Company, the new Diabetes Command and Control Center allows digital, real-time tracking of vital signs for diabetic patients across all regions of the Kingdom, enhancing continuous health monitoring and enabling timely medical support when needed.
The company affirmed that the launch of this center reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to advancing preventive care tools and improving quality of life, through innovative services that empower patients to manage their condition confidently and effectively, in alignment with the Saudi Health Care Model, which emphasizes prevention before treatment and places the individual at the heart of care.
This initiative represents a milestone in the Kingdom’s digital health transformation, aimed at improving service accessibility, enabling direct communication between physicians and patients, and reducing complications of chronic diseases through efficient and proactive responses.
