The Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel, conducted a field visit to review a number of healthcare projects and facilities in Jazan Region. The visit aimed to assess the quality and efficiency of health services, ensuring the delivery of high-standard care to residents, and expanding access to healthcare in line with the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to build a “Vibrant Society” that enjoys integrated health and well-being.
The visit included Jazan Specialized Hospital and King Fahad Central Hospital, where His Excellency reviewed several ongoing development projects within the Jazan Health Cluster. Among these are the construction of a Sleep Medicine Center and a Rehabilitation Center at Jazan Specialized Hospital, as well as upgrades to various departments at King Fahad Central Hospital, including Emergency and Radiology Departments. The tour also covered the replacement of isolation rooms at Sabya General Hospital and maintenance work on isolation rooms across hospitals in Jazan.
This visit is part of the Ministry of Health’s efforts to enhance the efficiency of the healthcare system through field supervision and continuous performance evaluation of health facilities. It reflects the Ministry’s commitment to improving quality of care and providing preventive and therapeutic services that meet population needs, while supporting sustainability and integration across the national healthcare system.
