The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Public Health Authority (Weqaya), has announced the completion of fitness examinations and school vaccination checks for new students for the academic year 1447 AH. The initiative was carried out through primary healthcare centers across the Kingdom as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen preventive measures and enhance the quality of healthcare services provided to all age groups. This aligns with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to build a “Vibrant Society” with sustainable health.
The Ministry confirmed that fitness examinations for approximately 355,000 male and female students have been completed so far, with their educational placement determined according to the results. Additionally, 96% of essential vaccinations have been administered, along with raising family awareness regarding identified health cases.
Reaffirming its supervisory and regulatory role, the Ministry of Health emphasized its commitment to ensuring the provision of comprehensive preventive and therapeutic services that meet the needs of all age groups, in accordance with the highest international standards of quality and safety. These efforts contribute to strengthening community health and enhancing quality of life.
