The Saudi Minister of Health, H. E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel, welcomed today His Excellency Eng. Abdulsalam Haykal, Syrian Minister of Communications and Technology, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh.
The discussions focused on unlocking opportunities in digital health, highlighting the role of modern technologies in reshaping healthcare services and driving efficiency across the system.
Both ministers explored avenues for exchanging expertise and fostering partnerships that harness digital innovation to elevate the quality of care, support healthier communities, and promote sustainable well-being.
As part of the visit, the Syrian delegation was introduced to the SEHA Virtual Hospital and the Ministry’s Command and Control Center, milestones in Saudi Arabia’s digital health transformation. The tour underscored the Kingdom’s commitment to collaborative innovation, building robust digital infrastructure, and delivering advanced, patient-centered healthcare.
