The sixth edition of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Telemedicine and Virtual care Expo 2025 kicked off today in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, under the patronage of the Ministry of Health, represented by the Seha Virtual Hospital. The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohammed AlAbd AlAali, Assistant Minister of Health for Healthcare Services.
This year's edition is marked by significant international participation, bringing together leading global experts, healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and technology organizations. The conference features more than 100 international speakers, 50 exhibitors, and representatives from over 50 countries.
In line with the Ministry's efforts to promote innovation in the healthcare sector, the sixth edition focuses on advanced technological solutions aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery and improving patient access. Seha Virtual Hospital holds the Guinness World Record as the largest virtual hospital in the world and has received Diamond-level accreditation from Accreditation Canada, the first virtual hospital in the world to achieve this distinction. It is also officially recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a certified training center for the Saudi Board in Family Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology.
