The healthcare system has launched “Fast Healthily” campaign, which aims to promote the adoption of a healthy lifestyle during Ramadan. It is part of the system's efforts to foster the concept of prevention before treatment by raising health awareness, in line with the objectives of the health sector transformation program within the Kingdom's Vision 2030. This program aims to promote preventive care and encourage healthy lifestyles, which contributes to improving the quality of life.
As part of the healthcare system's efforts, the Health Holding Company, in cooperation with healthcare clusters, announced its campaign to introduce the services of primary care centers and encourage health checkups through the "Fast Healthily" package for diagnostic exploratory testing. The Public Health Authority (Weqaya) also issued a comprehensive health guide titled "Your Health Guide in Ramadan".
The system also recommended, through "Live Well", the official awareness platform of the Ministry of Health, to follow a balanced lifestyle during the month of Ramadan, including healthy nutrition, drinking enough water, and practicing physical activity, while monitoring patients with chronic diseases and consulting a doctor to adjust the treatment in a manner that is consistent with fasting. These ongoing efforts aim to promote the principle of prevention and encourage the adoption of healthy habits, to build healthier and more productive society during the holy month.
The healthcare system entities also cooperate in continuous communication with the community, seeking to stimulate healthy behaviors in Ramadan and build a pattern that raises the quality of life and reflects on the prevention of chronic diseases and a sedentary lifestyle.
