Asir Governor and Minister of Health Witness the Signing of Agreements to Support the Health Sector by Al-Shakreen Endowment

​His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal, the Governor of Asir region, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajel, witnessed the signing ceremony of the agreements to support the health sector in Asir region funded by Al-Shakreen Endowments. The fund is donated by Sheikh Melhi bin Salama, within the framework of the community partnership between the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Al-Shakreen Endowments.The agreements included a group of health projects, including a centre specializing in oncology and another for dialysis, to be set up at the Medical City of King Khalid University in Al Qara'a, in addition to a rehabilitation center specializing in prosthetics in an independent building next to Asir Central Hospital, in cooperation with health affairs in the region.The ceremony was addressed by the Governor of Asir region, the Minister of Health, and the donor Sheikh Melhi bin Salama, in addition to a presentation by Dr. Abdullah Al-Khalidi, former member of the Shura Council, and member of the National Centre for Development of the Non-Profit Sector, in addition to two visual presentations. Also, Prince Turki bin Talal accompanied the Minister of Health and his guests on an inspection tour inside the Medical City at King Khalid University.The new projects provides quality health services to patients in the region and neighbouring governorates and villages, which contributes to achieving the goals of the health sector transformation program, leading to a vibrant society and a comprehensive, effective, and integrated health system, based on the individual and society health, in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030.
