A delegation of members of the National Biotechnology Committee in the Sultanate of Oman, headed by Dr. Saif bin Abdullah Al Hadabi, visited on Tuesday morning the headquarters of Seha Virtual Hospital in the Digital City in Riyadh.
The delegation toured the departments of the hospital, and listened to a detailed explanation on services provided by this hospital, which is the first of its kind in the Middle East.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the experience of Seha Virtual Hospital, its most important services, its most prominent achievements, and the success stories that have been achieved therein, they also touched on the latest technologies it uses to provide the best virtual health care services.
This visit aims to get acquainted with the Kingdom's experience in preparing and implementing the national strategy for biotechnology, and to benefit from the technologies of research and laboratory facilities used in this field.
It is noteworthy that Seha virtual hospital provides virtual health care services in several rare and delicate specialties to patients in various cities and governorates of the Kingdom, to facilitate the access of specialized medical services to beneficiaries without the need to transfer to hospitals in other regions, as a contribution to improving quality of life for the Kingdom's residents, and achieving the goals of the transformation program in the health sector and the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
