Ministry of Health stated that about 1,500 male and female volunteers spread out to all sites in the holy sites to serve the guests of Rahman during this Hajj season for this year 1444H.
And it indicated that the Health Volunteer Center in the Ministry deploys these volunteers through the "Sawaed” program, to provide health services to enrich the health experience of the guests of Rahman during the Hajj season of 1444H and launched its campaign this year under the slogan "Sawaed Mulabiyah".
Ministry of Health indicated that the services provided by the volunteers include ambulatory services, medical examinations, primary care, and all medical services in all health centers and hospitals in the four main cities: Makkah, the Holy Sites, Al-Madinah, Jeddah, and Taif, and they also have a significant presence in the most important Mashar of Arafat, for the fifth year, as the Health Volunteer Center is the body concerned with organizing and supervising health volunteering within the Ministry.
It is noteworthy that Sawaed Program for serving the guests of Rahman was launched for the first time in 1439H, where the program aims to attract professional volunteers from health practitioners with voluntary therapeutic and preventive tasks, to contribute to enriching the health experience of pilgrims.
