MOH: More than 69,000 Male and Female Pilgrims Receive Medical Services in Makkah and Al-Madinah

​​Ministry of Health stated that the number of pilgrims who received treatment services through hospitals and healthcare centers in Makkah and Al-Madinah reached (69,540) pilgrims from the first day of the month of Dhul-Qi’dah until Thursday corresponding to the fourthday of the month of Dhul-Hijjah 1444H.

MOH said: The guests of Rahman benefited from the qualitative specialized treatment service, where its hospitals provided a range of services, including: (18) open-heart surgeries, (130) cardiac catheterizations, (308) dialysis operations, and (23) endoscopy operations, while (1317) pilgrims entered hospitals, and Seha virtual hospital participated of some services; As the total number of its beneficiaries reached (662) cases.
It is noteworthy that Ministry of Health prepared during Hajj season this year 1444H in Makkah, the Holy Sites, and Al-Madinah its health facilities to provide treatment services to the guests of Rahman, as the number of hospitals reached (32), supported by (140) healthcare centers, and its bed capacity increased to (6132). beds, while the number of beds allocated for intensive care reached (761) beds, and the number of beds designated for sunstroke reached (222), and the number of healthcare qualified personnel to serve the guests of Rahman reached about (32) thousand practitioners. MOH has also prepared medical points in Al-Mashaer and Al-Haramain trains, and has intensified its efforts in the central area of the Holy Mosque of Mecca. In addition to providing (190) ambulances, and preparing (16) emergency centers at the Jamarat Bridge facility in Mina.
