Under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz - may Allah bless him, His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajil, today, Monday, received the King Abdulaziz National Award for Quality in its sixth session, which was obtained by the "Ministry of Health " at the gold level, for its participation in the category of government sectors in the ministries track. The Ministry of Health is the first ministry to win this award among its counterparts, which was based on five strategic axes, represented in building a sustainable entity, improving the mental image, evaluating the impact, keeping pace, and sustaining the impact. Empowerment of institutional excellence at the national level is the strategic direction of the award in this edition. The award aims to raise awareness, spread a culture of quality and institutional excellence, and stimulate sectors to adopt the principles of quality and institutional excellence, to enhance the concepts and applications of performance measurement, and to continuously improve business, in addition to working to raise the level of quality in Saudi facilities.
