The Surgical specialized team at Buraidah Maternity and Children Hospital succeeded in saving the life of a 30-week pregnant woman transferred from Zulfi Hospital suffering from uterine bleeding due to Placenta accreta. MRI was and the medical team was able to perform a C-section for the patient which lasted two hours. The surgery was successful, and the fetus is in a good health.
It is noteworthy that statistics of operations at Buraidah Maternity and Children Hospital until the end of the third quarter of 2022 amounted to (5173) surgeries, which included 2,985 scheduled operations and 2,188 emergency operations, and the number of obstetrics and gynecology operations was 4,041 operations, while children's operations amounted to 1,132.
