According to Al-Ahsa Health Cluster, the “Health Coach” clinic has served 4,363 beneficiaries since the service was launched in 2021.The clinic operates 4 days a week, with 14 appointments per day through an integrated teamwork comprising a health coach, a family doctor, a nurse, and a case coordinator. The health coach program has been launched in 20 primary healthcare centers distributed between its four domains in Al-Ahsa to ensure easy access to the service, it said.
According to the chronic diseases statistics, recently issued for the beneficiaries of the program, overweight and obesity problems top the list of health problems, followed by diabetes, while malnutrition problems came third, then blood pressure, lack of physical activity, and dyslipidemia problems, known as a (lipid imbalance), and triglycerides, the Cluster added.
