The Ministry of Health (MOH) has transported inpatient pilgrims of different nationalities through a medical convey from hospitals of Makkah Health Cluster to Arafat; to enable them to perform Hajj rituals accompanied by a specialized medical team.
According to MOH, the health cluster has prepared an integrated program for the medical convoy since their departure, and during its stay in Arafat; by means of following up on them medically, ensuring the presence of the specialized medical team for each patient, and continuously measuring their vital signs, as well as providing meals and educational publications about Hajj during their trip.
It is noted that transportation of patient pilgrims on the day of Arafah comes within a studied plan, which is prepared for this year’s Hajj season, through a medical convoy, featuring buses equipped and enhanced with an integrated medical team and an ambulance, in addition to cardiac monitoring and CPR devices. The medical convoy, which is accompanied by equipped ambulances, provides a distinguished service for pilgrims to help them perform their Hajj rituals; in terms of bringing joy to their hearts by standing Jabal Arafat (Mount Arafat). This comes within the framework of the efforts made by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, to remove all obstacles for pilgrims, and as part of the MOH’s unlimited support to transport patient pilgrims for enabling them to perform their Hajj rituals.
For their part, a number of patient pilgrims and their companions have extended their thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, May Allah protect them, for facilitating all ways to perform Hajj, and for the level of health services provided to them during this year’s Hajj season.
