According to the Eastern Region Health Affairs, during the past two months, 985 inspection tours have been conducted through commercial facilities, public places, and worker housing; to ensure their compliance with the precautionary measures to stop the spread of COVID-19. The tours also provided 740 directives on raising health awareness.
The Affairs will continue intensifying the inspection tours at markets and public places; to ensure application of the precautionary measures and to provide awareness directives to avoid violations and to maintain public health, as well as reduce the number of daily viral infections.
