Jazan Governor Inaugurates Renovated Jazan General Hospital

​​HRH Prince Muhammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Jazan, in the presence of HRH Prince Muhammed bin Abdulaziz, the Vice Governor and HE the Health Minister, Mr. Fahad bin Abdurrahman Al-Jalajel, inaugurated today Jazan General Hospital after its renovation and expansion, at a total cost of around SR 159 million. ​

After unveiling the commemorative plaque, the Governor toured the hospital’s different departments and listened to a detailed report about the hospital from the Health Minister and Director General of Jazan Health Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Harbi. The hospital features 24 clinics, including 3 specialized clinics enhanced with medical equipment and qualified staff. The hospital area was increased by 40%, the bed capacity increased from 100 to 200, the ICU beds increased to 21 and to 31 beds at the emergency department. Also, 34 beds were added to the neonatal ICU, and operating rooms increased by 6 rooms. The support service departments, including laboratory, pharmacy, and radiology were also enhanced with cutting-edge medical devices.  

The Governor expressed his happiness over the inauguration of the hospital and its well-equipped clinics and departments, and the services the hospital will provide to the citizens and residents. He directed the hospital management to provide everything that ensures the provision of the best services in the implementation of the directives of the wise leadership.
