The Ministry of Health (MOH) has reiterated that the COVID-19 vaccines approved in the Kingdom are safe and effective, highlighting the importance of taking two doses of COVID-19 vaccine to prevent the fast-spreading Covid-19 variants.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 39 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 546,882 confirmed cases, including 2,296 active cases and 255 critical cases.
In addition, 50 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 535,892 recoveries. Also, 6 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 8,694, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them.
MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
