The Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah, His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, has witnessed the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Umm Al-Qura University in the educational, training, and research fields. The signing ceremony was attended by the President of the University, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab. The memorandum was signed by the Deputy Health Minister for Human Resources, Mr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Aiban, and the Vice President of Umm Al-Qura University for Educational Affairs, Dr. Amer Al-Zaidi at the Emirate of Makkah in Jeddah.
The memorandum provides for the development of human cadres with regard to education and training, the provision of scholarships for MOH’s employees for the dispatch program, and field training opportunities in hospitals for the students of Umm Al-Qura University. This is in addition to participation in research and studies and other activities that contribute to the development of cooperation and the exchange of experiences.
