The Ministry of Health (MOH) has made available more than 14,000,000 appointments via “Sehhaty” App to get COVID-19 vaccines during this August, coinciding with the imminent start of the school year, and its desire to provide the opportunity for all target groups, especially students, to obtain the vaccine. According to MOH, the total number of appointments exceeded 8 million, while the number of vaccine doses given to the age group (12-18 years) exceeded 4 million doses, during the same period.
The Ministry of Health has underlined the importance of achieving a safe return to schools by taking the two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, wearing the mask, washing hands, and applying physical distancing, as well as avoiding sharing personal items between students.
It pointed out that this step comes in continuation of its efforts to expand the administration of the vaccine, adding that appointments for taking the vaccine can be scheduled through «Sehhaty» and «Tawakkalna» Apps. It added that the National COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign is proceeding as planned
