The Ministry of Health (MOH) has underlined the importance of adherence to precautionary measures, including wearing face-masks, avoiding shaking hands, and maintaining physical distancing, especially during family gatherings and social activities; to stop the spread of the virus for maintaining the health and safety of all members of society.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,479 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported over the past 24 hours in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 476,882 confirmed cases, including 11,131 active cases and 1,487 critical cases.
In addition, 920 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 458,048 recoveries. Also, 12 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,703, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them.
