Administration of 2nd Dose Is Continuing to People Aged 60 Years and Older, MOH Says

​The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that administration of the second dose is continuing to people aged 60 years and older, highlighting that the date of the second dose will be announced according to the progress in community coverage, the priority categories, in addition to the availability of vaccines supply.


According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,153 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported over the past 24 hours in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 473,112 confirmed cases, including 11,045 active cases and 1,496 critical cases.

In addition, 1,145 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 454,404 recoveries. Also, 13 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,663, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 77,831 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
