The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that remarkable spike has recently been observed in critical cases, recommending all people to get COVID-19 vaccine to protect themselves against the virus and its complications. MOH has also highlighted that the vaccine is a safe and effective way to get rid of infectious diseases, Allah Willing.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,245 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported over the past 24 hours in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 450,436 confirmed cases, including 9,661 active cases and 1,438 critical cases.
In addition, 1,275 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 433,413 recoveries. Also, 15 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,362, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 92,458 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.
MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
