Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, the activities of the first forum of internal audit in the healthcare sector were launched today (Wednesday) under the title (Internal Audit in Healthcare Sector). The forum is organized by MOH’s Internal Audit General Department and coincides with the International Internal Audit Awareness Month. The forum highlights the importance of internal auditing in MOH and the healthcare sector, through active participation in raising the awareness of the activities and roles of internal auditing and enhancing integration between the different parties of the healthcare sector.
The forum aims at attracting experts and competencies to benefit from their experiences, disseminating the proper concepts of internal auditing, increasing effective and positive communication between them and their partners, adding value to different entities, and contributing to the achievement of their goals. A set of working papers were presented by various sectors and received approval and effective participation from the audience. This has a great impact on the success of the forum and the achievement of its goals.
