MOH Records 1,157 COVID-19 New Cases, Reiterates Call for Adherence to Precautions to Stop the Virus

​The Ministry of Health (MOH) has underlined the importance of compliance with precautionary measures and preventive protocols, including wearing face masks, avoiding shaking hands, and maintaining physical distancing to stop the spread of the virus for the safety of all society members.


According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,157 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Kingdom in the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 442,071 confirmed cases, including 9,130 active cases and 1,334 critical cases.

In addition, 987 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 425,677 recoveries. Also, 15 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,264, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them.

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
