MOH Observes Constant Hike in COVID-19 Active and Critical Cases; Reiterates Call for Adherence to Precautions

​The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that the Kingdom is still witnessing constant hike in active and critical cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), urging all people to adhere to precautionary measures and maintain physical distancing; to stop the spread of the virus, Allah willing.‬ 


According to MOH’s latest statistic, 1,062 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 415,281 confirmed cases, including 9,892 active cases and 1,298 critical cases.

In addition, 867 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 398,454 recoveries, all praise is due to Allah. Also, 13 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 6,935, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 66,185 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
