Najran Health Affairs has launched online stop smoking clinics through smart applications with the aim of providing counseling and therapeutic services for those wishing to quit. The Affairs has designated 6 counseling clinics at the following healthcare centers: Al-Hoden, Al-Dobat District, Al-Fahad South, Al-Faisaliya District, and Sultanat Sharoura Healthcare Center, under the supervision of specialized medical staff. Also, the services include delivering medications to the visitors of the virtual clinics as part of the anti-smoking program efforts to help smokers wanting to quit.
It is noteworthy that the stop smoking clinics in Najran, over the past year, have provided their services to 2,300 beneficiaries, 711 of them have given up smoking. Also, awareness programs have been carried out at public places and commercial centers, benefiting 12,800 people, during the same period.
