Makkah: 358 Nurses Trained on ICU Skills at Hera Hospital

​​​Makkah Health Affairs and the First Health Cluster, in collaboration with Hera Hospital, have trained 358 female and male nurses on ICU nursing skills. The training course lasted for 2 weeks, with 22 training hours accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS). ​

According to the Affairs, the training course aims at qualifying the trainees theoretically and practically and providing them with the necessary skills to work in the ICU amid COVID-19 pandemic. The theoretical courses included 4 online lectures, while the practical training was given at 4 stations by highly qualified respiratory therapy trainers.
