According to Riyadh Health Affairs General Directorate, Al-Sulayyil Hospital has provided medicine home delivery services to 107 beneficiaries. This comes as part of the precautionary measures put in place by the Affairs to prevent the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) by limiting gatherings, providing all services to patients, and encouraging citizens and residents to stay at home. Beneficiaries can contact the hospital by phone and give the pharmacy their file number and the medicines required to be prepared and delivered via mobile apps.
The work method includes the hospital’s external pharmacy receiving patients’ prescriptions. After the examination and confirmation are conducted, the approved prescription is packed. Prescriptions of each patient are also filed separately. The pharmacy then contacts the patients and informs them of the delivery details of their medications and medical supplies. The competent team at the pharmacy delivers the medications on specific times that patients are informed of via text messages.
