 Hail Governor Inaugurates Maternity and Children Hospital

​​His Royal Highness, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Hail has launched today (Wednesday) the new maternity and children hospital with a capacity of 200 beds. ​

He was accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Fahad bin Meqren bin Abdulaziz, the Vice Governor, His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah and Deputy Governor Adel bin Saleh  Al-Sheikh. 
  
After touring the hospital's facilities and got acquainted with their equipment and medical staff, the Governor sponsored the opening ceremony started with the Royal anthem and a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. 
 
In his speech, Director General of Hail Health Affairs, Dr. Hamoud Al-Shammari highlighted the support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince, may Allah protect them, and the follow-up of Hail Governor and the Vice Governor and the Health Minister. He also highlighted the efforts exerted by his colleagues, and reviewed the hospital's capabilities and services, which aim to provide quality health services. 

For his part, Al-Rabiah extended his thanks to the Governor and Vice Governor for their continuous support and keenness to develop the health services in the region. With the support of the wise government, medical achievements continue, including the opening of the Maternity and Children Hospital, which was preceded by the opening of King Salman Specialist Hospital, he said, pointing out that the work is under way to open oncology center and dental center, as well as developing the medical services in the region. He confirmed that our ambition is to reach the highest standards for serving the citizens of Hail region and all other regions. 

In a press statement, the Governor extended his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince for their ongoing support to develop health services in Hail region and across the Kingdom.   

He also thanked Al-Rabiah and his assistants and staff of the Affairs, pointing out that the process of upgrading the health services is continuing and increasing day after day, as well as our ambition to provide the region's citizens with excellent medical services, Allah willing.
