According to Jazan Health, over the past year, Samtah General Hospital served more than 270,000 patients (163,977 emergencies and 106,380 outpatients), performed 620,605 lab tests (blood and chemical tests), 66,609 X-ray examinations, and 14,112 rehabilitation sessions, as well as 218,019 prescriptions. In addition, the hospital paid 1,968 home visits, received 3,155 blood donors and 9,078 dental patients.
"During the same period, the hospital successfully performed 2,499 surgeries (major, minor and one-day surgeries), 11,853 dialysis sessions and 3,849 inpatients" adds the Affairs.
