According to Riyadh Health Affairs, over the past year (2018), Al-Rayn General Hospital and its affiliated primary healthcare centers provided their health services to 146,897 patients (65,903 by the hospital and 80,994 by the centers). “The hospital served 36,443 emergencies (serious, moderate and cold cases) and 29,460 outpatients. Also, it performed 65 surgeries, 60 one-day surgeries, and 49,550 laboratory and radiology examinations (48.279 lab tests and 1,271 radiology examinations),” stated the Affairs.
It is worth mentioning that the hospital serves 25 primary health care centers. Such centers provides patients with the first level of health services, including basic immunizations, maternity and childhood care, chronic and non-chronic diseases care, family medicine and health awareness services.
